Hugh has represented developers and municipalities in Alberta before numerous subdivision and development appeal boards, assessment review boards and municipal councils. He has also appeared before the Alberta Court of Queens Bench and the Court of Appeal regarding issues such as planning approvals, municipal taxation, expropriation, and bylaw validity. A significant part of Hugh’s practice includes the preparation of development agreements and ancillary documents required for the implementation of major subdivision approvals.
Hugh is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of Alberta, the Calgary Bar Association and the Alberta Expropriation Association.
